Terms of use

Last updated 31 October 2026

Up Next is a small, invite-only hobby project shared between friends. By signing in and using it, you agree to these terms.

YouTube

Up Next uses YouTube API Services. By using Up Next you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Up Next isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by YouTube, Google or Mat Armstrong.

What Up Next does

It keeps private playlists on your YouTube account showing the next Mat Armstrong episodes to watch, based on the videos you like and the ones you mark as watched. What it can and can't do with your account is set out in the privacy policy.

Access

Up Next is by invitation only. Access can be withdrawn at any time, and the service may change or stop without notice.

No warranty

Up Next is provided free and as-is, with no guarantee that it will be available, accurate or error-free. Grouping videos into builds is done automatically and can be wrong. To the extent the law allows, the people who run Up Next aren't liable for any loss arising from using it.

Leaving

You can stop at any time. Go to Settings and choose Delete account, or remove Up Next's access from your Google account permissions.
